2022 Summer
Internship Overview:
I was the Traveling Exhibitions Intern for the National Geographic Society. During my time there, I collaborated with a team to organize exhibitions that travel domestically and internationally. Additionally, the bulk of my work was to design branded marketing advertisements for both international and domestic exhibitions. I had to make sure to follow the strict National Geographic Brand Guidelines, utilize their asset folder, and make sure that it was up to the company standards. As most of these ads were for photography exhibitions, my focus was to display the photo's to their best advantage. National Geographic Society wanted clean, bold, and interesting designs of various measurements in order to reach a variety of platforms. Additionally, I also partnered with other interns to create a short promotional film for marketing purposes.
